[R]ealising [I]nteractive [C]limate [E]ducation
Proud to be one of the grant recipients of 'Communicating Science for Climate Action', supported by EcoKnights & British High Commission Malaysia.
Time To RICE is a series of #Cocreating & #Gamifying Climate Science Communication Workshops aiming to cultivate the general public's proclivity to engage in climate crisis through the co-creation of modular and transferable science communication material.
In the past 6 months, we have successfully developed a tool kit and with that, we have run 5 online workshops with over 50 participants including young professionals, educators, politicians, and NGOs.
A big thanks to the IPCC and climate change communication experts: Prof Tim Benton, Dr Sofie Sjogersten, Dr Stephanie Evers, Dr Aazani Mujahid, Dr Peter Walton, and the agriculture community #SRIMAS Dr Anni Mitin, for sharing their knowledge and experiences with us generously. Conversations with them are enlightening and have inspired us in many ways!
Last but not least, thanks to my dear teammates Queenie Wong Haziq Ariffin Zhai Gen Tan 陈在耕Shenyi Chua Sathesh Raj, for their tireless effort, commitment, and passion dedicated! Thanks to each of you for making our lockdown weekends extremely productive and meaningful!
