KOMOREBI has won the Grand Prize for the Culture | Smart City Connections Open Call!

We are thrilled to share that KOMOREBI has won the Grand Prize for the Culture | Smart City Connections Open Call, and is being featured as part of the Tracing Latencies Hybrid Exhibition! 🤩😄

The Culture | Smart City open call is an initiative by the EU National Institutes for Culture EUNIC, supported by the Goethe-Institut e.V. Singapore. This Open Call uses the optic of the “smartcity” to critically explore the shifting and increasingly complex relations between culture and technology in urban landscapes.

Our work, #KOMOREBI is inspired by one of the local identity, the makeshift night markets (Pasar Malam) which spontaneously occupy neighborhood streets. KOMOREBI is a system which support aerial streets with urban spontaneity by leveraging technology like big data and swarm intelligence.
